Splits

Hey Everyone!


2 Nephi 3:12 Wherefore, the fruit of thy loins shall write; and the fruit of the loins of Judah shall write; and that which shall be written by the fruit of thy loins, and also that which shall be written by the fruit of the loins of Judah, shall grow together, unto the confounding of false doctrines and laying down of contentions, and establishing peace among the fruit of thy loins, and bringing them to the knowledge of their fathers in the latter days, and also to the knowledge of my covenants, saith the
Lord.



I wanted to share this scripture this week because it refers to the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They are both testaments of the restored gospel and testify of Christ and his glory. I know that they compliment each other and help us come closer to our loving Heavenly Father. I know that it contains the fulness of the gospel and helps us to become more Christlike. I know it is true by studying them and praying to know!


This was a pretty busy and stressful week.


We have been enduring to the end here in Albatros. Transfers are next week and we know there will be changes. We are getting excited for this Saturday to see Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the 12. We have to leave at 4 in the morning to go to Culiacan to see him.

Splits in Villa de Union

This week, we went on splits Elder Sanchez and myself with Elder Quezada and Elder Horrocks on Tuesday, the four working at Villa Union. Elder Horrocks and I worked together and I was able to help him with his little Spanish and teach him some things too. He is a good missionary. We put in two baptismal dates and got 7 new ones this day. Also on Friday we did our district activity to find new ones in the Vicente Guererro area. We were Elder Serrano and I and we had four contacts and a new one in an hour and a half. 

In the Albatros area, we are persevering. We are following up with the investigators progressing and finding new ones. Since the change of key indicators and focusing on the four, our contacts and references have not been many but we are trying to have lessons with the PF's and contacts / references of past changes. Our date investigators have been discouraged. Jose does not want to go to church because of the pain he could not walk and his skin. He got discouraged a lot when his brother told him that there are no miracles and he does not need religion or God to heal  but it is the money that will cure him. We are trying to work with him so he will be baptized 25 of March.
